What’s New - 8/1/2024

Hello everyone! We're excited to announce the latest updates and enhancements to the Clixie system. This is our biggest User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) update in years, and we can't wait for you to try it out!

Let's dive into what's new:

1. UI/UX Redesign - Phase Two: Experience a more intuitive and streamlined Story editing process, allowing you to edit faster than ever before. Key features include:some text
   • A side menu on the left-hand side with tabs for creating on-screen elements and actions, viewing/editing the transcript, dictionary, and chapters.
   • The Transcript tab now displays the full story transcript, not just the chapter-specific transcript.
   • The Chapter tab lets users edit the settings for each chapter.
   • The ability to add resources to on-screen elements after they've been created.
   • The ability to edit chapter timing without leaving the screen.
   • A streamlined workflow for creating new on-screen elements and actions.
   • On-screen elements now have a blue outline when selected, making it easier to identify the element you're editing.

1. Simplified UI for Story Page: The Story page has been redesigned with a cleaner, more modern look. Easily navigate to the Editor by clicking the orange “Edit Interactive Story” button above the video.

3. Improved Player Appearance: Before clicking play, viewers will see additional information when navigating to an interactive video. The chapter summary button has been replaced with a more intuitive icon.

Feature Enhancements:

1. Auto Translation Improvements: Fixed inaccuracies in the status display after adding Action Clixie.
2. Improved Video Processing: Video processing is now faster thanks to upgraded video processors.
3. Auto Chaptering Fixes: Enhanced auto chaptering algorithm for more consistent and valuable results.
4. YouTube Videos: Users can no longer upload videos using YouTube links due to YouTube's restrictions on downloading videos.
5. Various Bug Fixes: Addressed issues such as copying a story, unusual behavior when editing on-screen text elements, and issue with auto chaptering overwriting story name.

1. UI/UX Redesign - Phase Three: Look forward to an even more intuitive experience with improved statistics, easier chapter timing edits, simplified transcript editing, and more.
2. Additional Translation / Accessibility Features: Personalize translations for enhanced accuracy, auto-translate on-screen elements, and provide alternate audio/video tracks for the same story.
3. Viewer Groups: Group viewers for targeted content sharing and filter statistics by groups.
